Our Story

About Paul and Sandi Greer

Paul and Sandi have deep farming roots in Prince Edward County. For over 100 years both of our families have farmed and operated businesses in Prince Edward County. We have been fortunate enough to raise our two sons here and have them join us in operating Green Ridge Farms and Paul Greer & Sons Excavating Ltd.

Green Ridge Farms started as the vision of Brian and Lynda Beatty back in 1976. They started with a 25-acre planting and expanded to 60 acres over the years. They continued to operate the farm until 2016 when it was purchased by Paul and Sandi Greer. Since taking over, the Greers have replanted 35 acres of asparagus crowns and plan to continue growing the farm into a sustainable operation.

Friendly staff, good deals on asparagus and always fresh!!
